Our Dam Leaks game

If you save a score in Dam Leaks, the game on our home page, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number and state with your score. We use them to run the leaderboard, to email you your score or a reward code you earn, and to reach you if you win a prize. The public leaderboard shows only your first name, last initial and state. The game remembers the details you enter on your own device so you don't have to type them again, along with a random number that isn't tied to you, so we can count how many people play; clearing your browser's site data removes them. If you win a quarter, we ask for a mailing address to send your prize, used only for that, and you can send us a photo with it. We show a winner's photo on our website only if they say we may, with their first name, last initial and state.

Information sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Apart from the advertising measurement described below, we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business, provided they agree to keep your information confidential.

These include our scheduling and customer management system (Housecall Pro), which receives your request so we can schedule and invoice your service; our email delivery provider; our website host and the database that keeps the game's leaderboard; and, if you pay a membership online, Housecall Pro's secure payment system (card details are never entered on this website). Forms on this site are protected by automated bot detection, and we may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used.

Advertising

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. When you visit this site, Meta may receive information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your IP address and browser, and whether you arrived from one of our ads. When you request an estimate, we also send Meta a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address, name and city so it can tell whether the request came from an ad. We never send Meta your phone number. Meta's use of this information is covered by its Privacy Policy, and you can control the ads you see in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences.

SMS communications & consent

By providing your phone number through our website, service requests, or direct communication, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Beaver's Plumbing. These messages may include appointment scheduling and reminders, service updates, job status notifications, follow-ups regarding services, and occasional promotional or marketing messages.
